How I became interested in plants:

I always loved working in the garden with my mother and grandmother, but originally came to NCAHS to study Equine Science. Somewhere along the way, my passion developed for Plant Science and the rest is history! Since then I have gotten my degrees and certifications, and even worked for the Arnold Arboretum! Next to teaching, I also work for B.C. Murphy Landscape & Design, Inc. in Walpole as a landscape designer and Enhancements Director.

My Favorite plants:

Thats a loaded question I cannot answer!! :) but, I do LOVE the Tulip Tree I am pictured with above!
