Is in need of Part-Time and Weekend help. Involves wearing 25 LB backpack blower for 7+ hrs/day, pulling tarps of leaves, using leaf loader (vacuum). We have all new equipment, experienced Foremen and are fully insured.

* Fall cleanups from Nov. 1 Thru mid December, as work is finished. 

Part time and weekend help doing Spring cleanups and mulching.

Equipment Mechanic/Operator


This position will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the fleet equipment. Preventative maintenance, minor repairs to Class A trucks, forklifts, tractors and turf equipment. This position will keep logs of equipment maintenance and schedule and perform all maintenance on all grounds equipment including daily inspections, greasing, and adjusting. Sports Turf Specialties offers competitive pay, benefits package, 401K, and vacation time. There is a potential of growth in the Company.

Required Experience:

Candidate must have previous mechanic experience on grounds equipment. Candidate must have previous Diesel engine experience. Candidate must be familiar with all types of electrical and hydraulic systems. Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of turf tractors and skid steers. Candidate must obtain a DOT physical prior to the start date. Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds Candidate must be willing to work as a team and as a solo individual. Candidate must be attentive and reliable, work extended hours, and sometimes weekends. Candidate must be diligent, have a strong work ethic, willing to learn, and polite/effective in communicating. Candidate must be organized, efficient, and detail oriented. Candidate must be able to keep organized records and logs of all work performed. Candidate must have reliable transportation.

Sports Field Construction/Maintenance Laborer/Operator


This position will work on various athletic fields throughout the Northeast region of the United States, including professional, collegiate, private school, and municipalities. This position consists of physical labor and basic operating skills. This position includes but is not limited to equipment operation, laser grading, amending soils, installation of turfgrass, topdressing, seeding, and minor irrigation repair. Winter work may include snow removal. Sports Turf Specialties offers competitive pay, benefits package, 401K, and vacation time.

Required Experience:

  • Candidate must have previous experience in turf-grass, landscape, or related field and equipment operation experience (1+ years)
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Candidate must obtain a DOT Medical Card prior to start date.
  • Candidate must obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A with Air Brakes Endorsement within 6 months of start date.
  • Candidate must obtain Hoisting Engineers License Class 1C/2A within 3 months of start date.
  • Candidate must have a good driving record and be able to pass a drug test.
  • Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds and willing to perform manual labor.
  • Candidate must be willing to work as part of a team and also individually.
  • Candidate must be attentive and reliable, willing to travel throughout New England, work in all weather conditions, work extended hours, and sometimes weekends.
  • Candidate must be diligent, have a strong work ethic, willing to learn, follow instructions, and be polite/effective in communicating with clientele.
